I am a hardcore, outsider urban folk artist splitting my time between Austin and New York City since 2019.

Found objects direct my self-taught process of assemblage that started around 2006 in Brooklyn.

My passion to photograph led me to explore less manicured city streets, further enhancing my romance with the beauty of decay.

Weathered and warped artifacts, wood, plastic and metal scraps are sought and selectively layered into lyrical constructs and landscapes.

Geometric, tonal, and textural relations evolve through ongoing interplay until preservation tactics, adhesives and screws come into effect.

Some pieces take years of material collection and patience while others are orchestrated and completed within a few meditative moments. While some works focus on juxtaposing the subtler beauty and zen attributes of materials, others flaunt whimsical humor and figurative elements.

Although patterns and aesthetic relationships have emerged over the years, each work evolves with a rhythm and spirit of its own.
